Vote for Excellence over Extremism
Special interest-backed extremists running for your local school board want to waste tax dollars on lawsuits, micromanaging librarians, and over-regulating our teachers.
Our school board races shouldn’t be partisan!
GCISD has been embarrassed by a recent influx of extremists on our local school board. Here is more information from reputable sources regarding the candidates currently running for GCISD:
- GCISD now faces a budget shortfall
- For the first time since 2018, GCISD has fallen off the Dallas Morning News top 100 places to work
- A Patriot Mobile backed school board trustee referred to the former principal as a “total activist” and said a letter in which he denounced discrimination was “the straw that broke the camel’s back … that got him fired.”
- “Our board meetings have become similar to an SNL skit,” one parent said.
When voting in this year's school board election, please elect leaders who will prioritize our children's education over culture wars and partisanship.
School districts in North Texas who have elected extremists in recent elections have seen their schools flooded with lawsuits and legal bills totaling hundreds of thousands of dollars due to failed prioritization of resources.
Keep our tax dollars in our classrooms by electing common sense-minded community leaders, not extremists who want to ban books, demonize our local teachers, and waste your tax dollars.
Check out the following articles that outline what electing extremists has done in school districts across north Texas:
